About 9Y9P
9Y9P is a Java anarchy server built around the 2b2t formula: a persistent vanilla world, open PvP, raiding, griefing and no easy teleport shortcuts. Hacked clients are allowed, and the map does not reset, so old builds, ruins and technical projects remain part of the landscape.
The server also makes room for large redstone machines and technical Minecraft projects. There are no paid ranks, kits or priority advantages, so players start on equal terms. The real challenge is travelling out, hiding what matters and protecting a base in a world where other players can interfere.
What Makes It Different
9Y9P combines old-school 2b2t-style freedom with a strong focus on technical Minecraft. Large redstone projects can become permanent landmarks in a world where nothing is wiped away.
Anarchy is a Minecraft server style where players operate under very few enforced rules, leaving survival and conflict largely in player hands.
The server is explicitly built around a 2b2t-style anarchy format.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The server emphasizes a native vanilla-style experience rather than custom minigames.
Raiding is attacking another player’s base to breach its defenses, reach its valuables, and weaken or destroy its ability to operate.
Bases, builds and supply routes can be attacked by other players.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players survive and progress in a persistent vanilla world.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The experience takes place in a shared multiplayer survival world.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Player combat is part of the open-world anarchy gameplay.
This is survival with anarchy rules. Travel away from crowded areas, gather supplies, build hidden infrastructure and expect other players to raid or grief exposed work. There are no /tpa or /sethome shortcuts, so routes and distance matter.
Progression is player-made rather than menu-driven. Gear, food, obsidian, transport routes, farms and stash networks come from what you can secure. Long-term progress means creating something valuable without drawing too much attention.
The world is persistent and does not reset. Player builds, griefs, travel routes and technical projects accumulate over time, giving established areas a visible history.
PvP is part of the main world. Ambushes, raids and fights can happen around bases, travel routes and supply runs. Hacked clients are allowed, so combat is aimed at players comfortable with a very open anarchy environment.
The server has an associated Discord community and is aimed at players who enjoy shared-world anarchy, technical building and long-term group projects.
Hacked clients are allowed. The server follows an anarchy-style format, with no /tpa or /sethome shortcuts and no paid gameplay advantages.

History of 9Y9P
9Y9P was running by 2025 as a 2b2t-style alternative focused on vanilla anarchy rather than minigames, ranks or a plugin-heavy survival format.
Its early design was built around permanence. The world does not reset, hacked clients are allowed, and the absence of /tpa and /sethome keeps travel, stashes and hidden routes important.
By February 2026, the server was being offered to a global audience and followed the 2b2t version line, with Minecraft 1.21.4 presented as its main supported version.
As it developed, technical Minecraft became part of its appeal. Large redstone contraptions, farms and other long-running builds were welcomed instead of being treated as a side activity.
Today, 9Y9P remains a Java-only, no-reset anarchy world where player damage becomes part of the map and progression comes from what groups can build, hide and defend.
