About WeHaveTrees
WeHaveTrees is a crossplay survival SMP built around protected building, player trade, and a long list of useful quality-of-life upgrades. Players can claim land by chunk, set claim flags, run shops, and unlock player warps as their base grows.
The server keeps survival recognizable while adding mcMMO skills, rare-mob leashing, magic carpets, custom enchants, and recurring events. Separate Overworld, Nether, and End resource worlds are refreshed, so mining does not become a race for the last untouched vein.
What Makes It Different
The claim system is unusually hands-on: players can see their claimed chunks and tune flags such as PvP and mob spawning. The other standout feature is the ability to leash almost any mob, which makes collecting and decorating with rare creatures part of normal survival.
mcMMO is a Minecraft server skill system that grants experience for activities such as mining, chopping trees, fishing, and fighting.
Skill levels and abilities for activities such as Mining, Fishing, and Combat add persistent progression.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Visual chunk claims and claim flags are core systems for protecting and managing builds.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Its gameplay centers on shared survival, building, trading, and community interaction.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is fundamentally a survival experience.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Emerald trading, player shops, /sell, and villagers form a major part of progression.
Start with survival gathering, then use claims to secure a build area and expand it as you progress. Player warps, magic carpets, pets, and build-focused tools reduce travel and construction chores. The server also supports item and inventory previews in chat, community advertising at spawn, and player-run shops.
mcMMO adds skill levels and abilities for activities such as Mining, Fishing, and Combat. Voting can earn free ranks, beginning with Seedling and progressing through Sprout, Branch, and Evergreen. Higher free ranks add perks such as larger claims, extra homes, shops, and player warps.
Custom additions include rare-mob leashing, magic carpet rentals, ArtMap painting, chat emojis, an infinite water bucket, an Everydry Sponge, a replanting hoe enchantment, and a Molten Touch pickaxe enchantment. MyPets adds another layer for collecting and managing companions.
The main survival experience is supported by separate Overworld, Nether, and End resource worlds that reset regularly. The Ender Dragon can respawn, with Dragon Egg rewards tied to successful victories.
Claim flags let players control PvP inside protected areas. PvP settings are therefore part of how towns, bases, and shared builds are managed rather than being a single fixed rule everywhere.
The economy uses emeralds as a central trade item. Players can operate their own shops, sell drops through /sell, trade through custom-balanced villagers, and advertise services on the community board at spawn.
Pinata Parties can be triggered through voting and provide server-wide loot activities. Zombie Invasions send waves of hostile mobs against players for rewards such as emeralds, diamonds, and crate keys.
The server is built around a Discord community with updates, events, voice chat, and player interaction. In-game social tools include player shops, public warps, pet sharing, item display in chat, and a spawn board for advertising builds or services.
PvP and mob-spawning settings can be adjusted through claim flags, allowing protected areas to use different local rules.
Players can earn free ranks through voting. Paid donor ranks use tree-themed names such as Sapling, Timber, Canopy, Grove, and Ancient Oak, with perks including backpacks, teleportation features, XP retention, and cosmetics.

History of WeHaveTrees
WeHaveTrees was running by March 26, 2025, as a Java-and-Bedrock survival server with land protection, player shops, custom conveniences, and a community Discord.
Its early feature set already leaned beyond plain vanilla survival. Chunk-based claims, claim flags, player trading, magic carpet rentals, ArtMap painting, custom build tools, and special enchants gave builders more control without replacing the survival world.
By spring 2025, mcMMO skills and a vote-based rank ladder had become part of the progression. Players could work toward ranks such as Seedling, Sprout, Branch, and Evergreen while improving skills such as Mining, Fishing, and Combat.
The server also developed a stronger event and resource cycle. Nether, End, and Overworld resource areas were refreshed, the Ender Dragon could return with Dragon Egg rewards, and community activities included vote-triggered Pinata Parties and Zombie Invasions.
During the 2025-26 version era, WeHaveTrees moved through 1.21.x-era releases and reached the 26.2 setup. Its current form combines a protected survival world with a player market, custom convenience items, mcMMO progression, pets, warps, and crossplay access.
Today, WeHaveTrees is best understood as a small, social survival SMP with enough extra systems to support long-term building, trading, collecting, and community projects without turning into a minigame network.
