Veilscar is a dark fantasy lore PvP server, formerly TsaiSMP. Your first hour is spent in the Rifts, dungeons with ten depths on Normal, Hard and Heroic, alone or with a party. Clear them for gear from Common to Legendary and orbs to upgrade it, then team up against world bosses like the Hand of Eryctis.
The Loreworld is the real test. PvP is always on, Keep Inventory is off, and betrayals are allowed. Riddles open portals to lore bosses that die once, ever, and each drops one mythical item. Between fights you can duel in the ranked arena, run a shop in the Mall or join a cult. It is Java only.
What Makes It Different
Each lore boss can be killed only once in the server's history, and the mythical item it drops passes to whoever kills its holder.
Rifts are dungeons with three difficulties and ten depths each.

Rifts are dungeons with ten depths each; clearing Normal 10 unlocks Hard, and Hard 10 unlocks Heroic. World bosses scale their health with every player who joins the fight.
Gear runs from Common to Legendary, with Cursed gear only from world and lore bosses and Mythical items that exist once. Class looks range from archer to necromancer, and mages need a robe.
Riddles in the Loreworld lead to bosses like Xyrakoth and Zarakar, generals of the black stone Krevatopetra. Resource worlds for the Overworld, Nether and End reset on the 1st of every month, with PvP on.
The Loreworld has PvP on everywhere, and traps, ambushes and faked truces are allowed. The ranked arena has one-on-one duels with ratings and kit ladders like sword, axe, crystal and UHC.
Cults are guilds with ranks, a shared bank and their own world. You also get a private home world you can invite friends to.
Cheating is a ban everywhere. In the Loreworld staff never give back lost items and only step in for bugs, exploits and cheats.
The store sells Veiled Crystals for cosmetic looks and monthly Voice and VIP+ subscriptions. Proximity voice chat comes with the Voice subscription, and nothing sold gives gear or stats.
The Mall gives players claimable plots where a shop NPC sells their goods.
World bosses like the Hand of Eryctis and the Eidolon of Krevatopetra get tougher with every player who joins the fight.
Rifts end in boss fights: one boss per run on Normal, two on Hard and three on Heroic, with co-op bonuses for parties.
The store sells looks and subscriptions only, and says nothing there buys gear, stats or drop rates.

Custom weapons and armor sets give class looks from archer to necromancer, and tanks have skills like Wardcry.
The arena has one-on-one duels with ratings and kit ladders for sword, axe, crystal, UHC and more.
In the Loreworld PvP is always on, Keep Inventory is off and even mythical items drop when you die.
Overworld, Nether and End resource worlds reset on the 1st of each month, and PvP is on there too.

History of Veilscar
The world opened in 2020 as TsaiSMP and ran for three seasons of lore, PvP and dungeons. Mythical weapons won in those years, like the Curse of the Profane, still belong to the players who won them.
In October 2026 the server came back as Veilscar, a dark fantasy RPG built out of TsaiSMP. Early access opened with patch 1.0.1 on 24 October, and four days of fixes and new rift bosses followed up to 1.0.4 on 28 October.
The new Loreworld and its world bosses are set to open on 14 November 2026, and titles from the old seasons can never be earned again.
