About VanillaBox
VanillaBox is a survival SMP built around ordinary Minecraft: gather resources, explore, build a home, and meet other players. Java and Bedrock players can play on the same network, and new players receive a copper claim block to protect a starting area.
What Makes It Different
VanillaBox combines a long-lived survival world with a simple copper-block claim system. The server also gives survival a strong social layer through player vendors, clans, public warps, and shared community spaces.
Vanilla servers use Minecraft’s original blocks, items, rules, and progression without custom gameplay systems that redefine how players play.
The server keeps Minecraft's normal survival gameplay at its center.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Copper-block claims are one of the server's defining mechanics.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Its main experience is shared multiplayer survival with social systems.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The server is fundamentally a survival world.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Player trading, vendors, currency, salaries, and quests are central systems.
Start at spawn, collect resources, choose a place to live, and protect it with a copper claim block. Use /rtp to find new terrain and /tpa or /call to meet other players. Homes, kits, public warps, and a spawn marketplace make travel easier.
Players build wealth through starter tasks, activity payments, fishing, selling resources, renting vendors, and daily quests. A player can eventually open a public warp, run a shop, or create a clan. Clans add ranks, alliances, rivalries, shared chat, statistics, and a bank.
Optional client mods add Simple Voice Chat, EmoteCraft, and PatPat interactions. The server also supports custom skins, decorative toys, editable armor stands, decorated elytra, custom image frames, player banners, and cosmetic commands.
The server is built around a persistent survival world rather than regular scheduled wipes. An interactive map displays the world, spawn, online players, warps, and protected regions. Unused land and progress can still be removed after extended inactivity under the server rules.
PvP is controlled through the server's PvP system and includes a dedicated arena. Killing players in peaceful mode or while AFK is forbidden, as are traps and forced attacks in dangerous locations. PvP remains a real risk outside protected and peaceful situations.
The main currency is used for player trades, vendors, warps, claim blocks, clan creation, and selected services at spawn. Players can rent traders for limited periods, sell goods while offline, and sell some resources to NPC buyers. Bazaar sales charge a 10 percent server fee.
The network provides an event server and a minigames entry point. Community activities include competitions, creator projects, decorative showcases, and special additions such as collectible toys. Event and minigame availability can change over time.
The main community language is Russian. Discord and Telegram are used for support, announcements, appeals, and player discussion. Clans provide a second layer of social play through private chat, alliances, rivalries, shared bases, and group finances.
Cheats, dupes, exploit abuse, automated gameplay, deliberate server attacks, griefing inside protected areas, harassment, spam, hate speech, impersonation, and unsafe or offensive builds are forbidden. Staff can issue warnings, mutes, kicks, bans, jail time, rollbacks, item or currency removal, claim deletion, and structure removal. Claims and progress may be deleted after 35 days of inactivity.
VanillaBox offers monthly Boosty subscriptions with convenience and cosmetic perks such as extra homes, more claims, more traders, decorative features, regional flight, and special commands. Paid decorative toys and custom toy orders are also available. Subscriptions are not intended to provide decisive PvP or economy advantages.

History of VanillaBox
VanillaBox opened in 2022, with a server listing published on January 28 and a launch thread dated February 3. It began as a small survival project built around a familiar Minecraft experience.
Its early identity was deliberately accessible. Players did not need a resource pack or mod, and the server combined survival with an economy, decorative additions, and a small selection of extra activities. PvP was initially restricted to dangerous dimensions such as the Nether and End.
As the project developed, it grew into a more structured SMP. Claims helped organize player builds and protect regions, while clans added a social layer to survival. The server retained its survival foundation as these systems expanded around it.
VanillaBox also broadened how players could join. The network supports both Java and Bedrock, with Java using the standard Minecraft port and Bedrock using port 19132.
Mapping became part of the server’s identity as well. Its interactive live map shows players, regions, spawn, and other markers, giving the world a persistent view beyond the in-game interface.
Over time, the server added further customization without making client modifications mandatory. Custom decorations, optional client mods, and subscription support became part of its documented development.
Its rules established the boundaries for this expanding community. Cheating, dupes, exploit abuse, griefing in protected regions, harassment, and deliberate disruption are prohibited, with broad administrative enforcement available when needed.
Today, VanillaBox is a documented SMP that combines accessible survival with claims, economy, clans, live mapping, decorative content, cross-edition access, and optional extensions. It has grown beyond its small 2022 beginning while retaining its focus on a familiar Minecraft-style survival experience.
