About Universal Gaming Network
Universal Gaming Network is a Java-and-Bedrock network with several very different ways to play. Its survival side focuses on building, exploration and custom content, while the network also offers a 2b2t-style anarchy mode and a factory-focused Gens mode.
The SMP experience adds custom armor, tools, weapons, furniture, plushies, maps, biomes and cosmetics. Players who want higher stakes can move into the anarchy world, where griefing, conflict and permanent world changes are part of the deal.
What Makes It Different
Universal Gaming puts a custom survival SMP and a no-rules 2b2t-style world behind the same crossplay network. You can play for builds and custom gear, or accept a world where bases can be found, raided and destroyed.
Anarchy is a Minecraft server style where players operate under very few enforced rules, leaving survival and conflict largely in player hands.
Universal 2b2t Anarchy is a major network mode.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Custom armor, tools, weapons, furniture, plushies and cosmetics are central to the SMP offering.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The main advertised mode is a survival multiplayer server.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The network has a central survival and SMP experience.
The network offers three distinct styles of play. The SMP is aimed at building, exploration and custom content. The anarchy mode turns survival into a player-driven fight over land, resources and bases. Universal Gens focuses on building a production chain and competing on leaderboards.
Universal Gens uses a factory-style progression path. Players generate resources, improve machines and build larger production chains. The anarchy mode has a much less controlled progression path, with survival gear and territory gained or lost through player conflict.
Custom armor, tools, weapons, furniture, plushies, cosmetics, maps and biomes are part of the network's custom-content focus. These additions give the SMP side more to collect and build around than standard survival alone.
The network mixes an exploratory survival world with a separate anarchy world designed to persist without resets. Custom maps and biomes add variety to the SMP side, while the anarchy world is built around distance, discovery and player-made history.
PvP is central to the Universal 2b2t Anarchy mode. That world is presented as no-rules survival, so combat, griefing and base attacks are expected risks. The network's SMP side is a separate experience and is not presented with the same unrestricted ruleset.
The clearest economy system is in Universal Gens, where resource generation, machine upgrades and production chains drive progress. Leaderboards give the factory grind a competitive goal.
Seasonal content, events, rewards and community activities are part of the network's planned player experience. The public focus is on rotating content rather than a fixed competitive tournament schedule.
Java and Bedrock players share the network through the same main address. A Discord community supports the network, and the project presents itself as a growing multi-mode community rather than a single isolated survival server.
Rules depend on the mode. Universal 2b2t Anarchy is presented as a no-rules world with no resets, while the network's SMP and community side is presented as staff-moderated. Players joining the anarchy mode should expect griefing, unrestricted conflict and little protection from other players.

History of Universal Gaming Network
Universal Gaming was active by March 2023 under the MC Universe Network name, beginning as a Bedrock-focused survival project and community.
By July 2025, the Universal Gaming creator account was also publishing Universal 2b2t Anarchy, giving the project a much harsher survival option alongside its earlier Bedrock roots.
The network was being presented as Universal Gaming Network by April 2026, with a 26.1.2 survival server listed under that name. The project had moved beyond a single survival destination and was being developed as a broader Minecraft network.
During August 2026, Universal Gaming Network promoted Java-and-Bedrock crossplay for its main connection address. The advertised SMP experience included custom armor, tools, furniture, plushies, maps, biomes, cosmetics and seasonal content.
The network's anarchy branch was built around a no-rules, no-resets survival world. Its other major mode, Universal Gens, added machine upgrades, resource generation, production chains and leaderboard competition.
Today, Universal Gaming Network combines a custom-content SMP with high-risk anarchy and factory-style progression. The network is also planned to expand toward a central hub with additional modes such as KitPvP, Duels, Skyblock, OneBlock, minigames and economy survival.
