About SuperAwesome
SuperAwesome is more than a single game mode. It is a Danish Minecraft network where players can create their own servers, play on other people's servers, and move between them through the Limbo hub.
Creators can start a server for free, choose its style, change settings, and add plugins or scripts. Players may find Prison, Skyblock, Factions, KitPvP, minigames, creative builds, and many smaller community projects in the same network.
What Makes It Different
Most Minecraft networks give you a menu of fixed modes. SuperAwesome also lets players become server owners. You can create a server, shape it with plugins, and invite people into your own idea.
Prison servers turn mining into a gated progression ladder: players break blocks in designated mines, sell the resources, and spend their earnings on ranks that unlock more valuable areas.
Prison is one of the most visible and repeatedly associated hosted server styles.
Minigames are compact Minecraft games with their own rules, objective, and bounded play area, usually resolved in a single round.
The network supports multiple small competitive and casual game projects.
Join the main network and use Limbo to reach the available servers and lobbies. You can also connect to a hosted server through its own subdomain when one is available.
Players who want to build a server can use `/sm createserver <name>`. The `/sm help` command lists the available network commands. Linking Discord with `/sadiscordlink` unlocks access to the owner dashboard.
Progression is different on every hosted server. A Prison server may use ranks and mines, while a KitPvP server may focus on kits, kills, and upgrades.
The network also has server points, player points, ems, and LabyCoins. VIP and PRO plans improve owner-side progression by increasing hosting limits and point-earning options.
Server owners can add plugins and Skript files through SFTP. Server Manager also supports custom MOTDs, icons, whitelists, PvP settings, difficulty, player limits, and server flavours such as Survival, SMP, KitPvP, PvP, or Economy.
The network is organized around Limbo and separate player-created servers rather than one shared survival map. Each hosted server can have its own world, settings, plugins, rules, and style.
PvP is controlled server by server. Owners can enable or disable it through Server Manager, so combat rules depend on the world you join. PvP-focused hosted servers include KitPvP projects and other competitive modes.
SuperAwesome uses network currencies such as ems, also called Emeralder or emeralds, plus LabyCoins and server points. Ems can be used with network tools such as SAStore. Individual hosted servers may add their own currencies, shops, ranks, or reward systems.
Events depend on the hosted servers. SuperAwesome has an event destination in the network, while individual communities can run their own competitions, giveaways, and scheduled activities.
SuperAwesome is Danish-first and has a dedicated Discord community for players, server owners, and technical support. The social side is built around discovering other servers, sharing projects, and helping owners solve setup problems.
Joining the network and creating a basic server are free. SuperAwesome sells VIP and PRO upgrades, server advertising, and lobby kits. VIP increases hosting access and player limits, while PRO adds larger resources, backups, MySQL access, advertising exposure, and possible external hosting. Hosted servers may operate separate stores of their own.

History of SuperAwesome
SuperAwesome was already running by May 18, 2016 under the superawesome.dk address. Its early identity centered on a broad Minecraft network rather than one fixed game mode, with several familiar modes available to players.
A dedicated Discord community was established on August 1, 2020. The network's identity grew around two groups at once: players looking for places to play and owners looking for a simple way to launch their own servers.
Over time, SuperAwesome developed into a player-server platform. Free server creation was joined by plugin support, SFTP access, configurable server settings, advertising tools, network points, and server-specific shops. This made each hosted server more flexible than a normal preset game-mode portal.
The network later added a web-based Server Manager for changing MOTDs, icons, whitelists, PvP, difficulty, player limits, and server style. VIP and PRO plans expanded hosting resources, backups, player limits, and owner tools.
In 2025 and 2026, the network continued building out guides for server creation, plugin installation, external hosting, Discord linking, advertising, and custom shop systems. Today, SuperAwesome is a Danish hub for free player-run Minecraft servers, with Limbo acting as the main gateway between community worlds.
