History of SquadCraft
SquadCraft was running by March 2013, when a Hunger Games map was created specifically for squadcraft.net. Its early identity was tied to Minecraft creators and competitive multiplayer rather than a single survival world.
By October 2013, NoahCraftFTW was promoting SquadCraft as his own server. The network already combined Factions, SkyWars and Hunger Games, giving players both persistent team warfare and short competitive matches.
During 2014, SquadCraft grew into a broader multi-mode network. SkyWars, SkyWars Evolved, mcMMO, Skyblock, Creative, KitPvP and Survival Games all became part of its recognizable lineup. A published ruleset also established restrictions against cheating, X-ray, harmful mods, DDoS attacks and several forms of trapping.
