About SharkSMP
SharkSMP is a survival multiplayer server for Java and Bedrock players. You can gather resources, build, trade, and grow your place in a shared world with other players.
The server adds many social and competitive tools around survival. Shops, an Auction House, orders, coin flips, bounties, levels, trading, PvP zones, and teams give players more ways to play than simple building alone.

History of SharkSMP
SharkSMP’s exact Minecraft launch date is unclear, but its current community was established by July 10, 2024, when the official Discord was created. From this early point, the server’s identity centered on shared survival, player interaction, and an economy shaped by trading.
Its survival experience expanded beyond gathering resources and building. Shops, player trading, and an Auction House gave players ways to exchange goods, while orders and coin flips added more structured economic activity.
Progression systems became part of the server’s wider identity as well. Levels and bounties added additional goals alongside ordinary survival, giving players reasons to keep developing their presence in the world.
Competition grew into another important part of the experience through designated PvP zones. Teams provided a way for players to cooperate, organize, and compete while remaining connected to the shared survival environment.
By 2026, cross-play between Java and Bedrock had become central to SharkSMP. The network continued combining survival building with trading, social interaction, events, and optional store content.
Today, SharkSMP is a cross-platform survival SMP built around community interaction and an economy-driven world. Its identity joins ordinary Minecraft survival with trading systems, competitive activities, team play, and additional progression.
