About OrchardMC
OrchardMC gives players two ways to settle in. Its survival SMP focuses on claimed land, jobs, quests, chest shops, and long-term building, while Skyblock starts each player or co-op team on a small floating island and builds toward stronger automation, higher island levels, and leaderboard competition. Both modes share one Java and Bedrock network with optional cosmetics, voting rewards, and a player-driven economy.
What Makes It Different
OrchardMC puts persistence at the center of both modes. SMP players can protect a lasting base with land claims, while Skyblock players keep improving an island through minions, levels, co-op building, and leaderboard competition instead of relying only on short match-based play.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
The network has a dedicated floating-island mode with island development, minions, upgrades, co-op play, and island rankings.
Quests are tracked Minecraft objectives that direct players to complete specific tasks or a connected sequence of tasks.
Structured quests appear in the SMP and in the Skyblock progression guide, directing players toward tracked objectives.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Chest shops and player-to-player selling are explicitly supported as part of the server economy in both modes.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server provides a dedicated shared-world survival mode centered on gathering, building, claims, jobs, quests, shops, and community play.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Money, resource selling, trading, chest shops, and reinvesting earnings are central progression systems across both advertised modes.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The SMP retains ordinary survival gathering, crafting, farming, building, and hostile-mob progression within a shared world.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Protected claims are a prominent SMP system for securing homes, farms, storage, and community builds.
The SMP combines ordinary survival gathering and building with protected land, jobs, quests, chest shops, and player trading. Skyblock starts with a small floating island, then expands through mining, farming, combat, quests, missions, island upgrades, minions, and co-op play. Players can choose a slower building-and-trading path or focus on structured progression and island rankings.
SMP progression comes from earning money through jobs, completing quests, trading, and improving a protected base. Skyblock progression is more layered, with island levels, minion upgrades, better gear, pets, dungeons, missions, and additional systems unlocked as the island develops.
Server-specific systems include land claims, jobs, quests, missions, minions, island levels, island-top rankings, pets, dungeons, custom crates, cosmetics, chest shops, and voting rewards.
The SMP uses a shared survival world where players claim land for homes, farms, storage, and community builds. Skyblock uses separate floating islands that can be developed alone or shared with co-op members. The network is designed around keeping player progress meaningful over longer play rather than centering the experience on repeated short matches.
Both modes use a player-facing economy with chest shops and trading. SMP players can sell gathered or crafted goods, while Skyblock players earn and reinvest money through island production, shops, upgrades, and resource gathering. The store and official server pages present ranks and cosmetics as optional rather than gameplay advantages.
Community events are part of the network's social calendar, alongside voting rewards and Discord-based support. No specific recurring event series is documented strongly enough to describe in detail.
OrchardMC uses an official Discord for community support, punishment appeals, and server communication. The network presents itself as a friendly, moderated community with an active staff team and a focus on players who want a stable place to build and return to.
Players are expected to play fairly, use common sense, and keep the community friendly. Rule violations can lead to warnings, mutes, or bans depending on severity. Punishment appeals are handled through Discord tickets rather than public arguments in chat.
The server is free to play. Its store lists ranks, cosmetic coins, crate keys, and rank upgrades, while the official gameplay pages describe ranks and cosmetics as optional and non-pay-to-win. Voting also provides in-game rewards.
Minions are persistent helpers that perform useful production or resource activities, supporting progression while players pursue other objectives.
Skyblock includes minions and minion upgrades as part of the island’s layered development and automation-focused progression.
Co-op islands let multiple players share an island’s building space, permissions, resources, and progression within a cooperative SkyBlock environment.
Skyblock supports co-op islands, allowing teammates to develop a shared floating base and pursue island progression together.
Island levels measure the development of a SkyBlock island, usually increasing as players build with valuable or numerous blocks.
Island levels are a named Skyblock progression track presented alongside minions, upgrades, and island-top rankings.
Competitive rankings compare players or teams using measurable island achievements, wealth, production, value, or progression.
OrchardMC presents island-top rankings, giving Skyblock players a competitive comparison goal alongside cooperative island building.
Island upgrades expand or improve a Skyblock island, increasing its usefulness as players gather resources and advance.
The Skyblock guide lists island upgrades as a progression path alongside minions, gear, missions, pets, and dungeons.
Pets are collectible or companion entities that accompany players for companionship, presentation, or optional utility in the game world.
Pets are listed among Skyblock’s additional progression systems, alongside minions, enchants, dungeons, and island upgrades.
Crate systems provide tiered reward containers that players open with keys to receive server-specific prizes or resources.
Custom crates and crate keys are listed among OrchardMC’s server systems, with crate keys also appearing in the store.
