About iMinecraft
iMinecraft’s current 12th season puts a light technology modpack inside a relaxed survival world. Players follow a guided tech path, build long-term bases, work in teams, explore several dimensions, use protected claims, and leave behind large community creations rather than rushing through a short competitive season.
What Makes It Different
The current season keeps technology progression deliberately light and open-ended instead of turning the server into a tightly gated factory ladder. Modded tools, quests, claims, shops, and multiple worlds support technical play, but the server still leaves room for relaxed building, social projects, and unusual player creations.
Modded Minecraft servers use game mods to add or change mechanics, content, or progression beyond the unmodified game.
The current season requires an official modpack adding technology, quests, teams, claims, equipment, and other survival content.
Quests are tracked Minecraft objectives that direct players to complete specific tasks or a connected sequence of tasks.
FTB Quests provide a structured route through technology, exploration, combat, and construction objectives.
A persistent world is a Minecraft server world that keeps its player-made changes and ongoing progress across repeated visits.
The main worlds normally remain available, allowing bases, infrastructure, and community creations to develop over time.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players gather resources, craft, explore, build bases, and progress through a long-term survival world.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server emphasizes shared-world survival, team play, community infrastructure, and long-running player projects.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Players can create shops, list inventory items, set prices and quantities, and sell directly to other players.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Players earn and manage coins through tasks and rewards, then use balances in system and player-run shops.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
FTB teams use protected claims with configurable permissions for shared bases and player projects.
This is modded survival with a strong building and community focus. The current pack adds a light technology path with quests and extra tools while players still gather resources, explore, construct bases, and develop large projects in a shared world. FTB teams connect players through shared quest progress and claim permissions.
FTB Quests provide an organized route through the pack, while technology, exploration, combat tasks, and construction give players several ways to advance. Currency can come from bounty-board combat tasks, loot containers, scheduled rewards, activities, and building rewards, so progression is not tied to one activity.
Joining the current season requires the official iMinecraft modpack, distributed in Full.zip, Lite.mrpack, and Lite.zip formats. The pack adds technology, FTB Quests, team and claim systems, custom currencies, player shops, additional equipment, and other modded survival content without replacing the server’s long-term building focus.
The main overworld is a 32,000 by 32,000 area with a world height of 1,024. The Nether, End, and Twilight Forest worlds use the same broad size while retaining a lower building height. These main worlds normally remain in place, while 64,000 by 64,000 resource worlds reset periodically and are intended for large-scale mining and terrain damage.
The in-game economy uses physical silver, gold, and crystal coins valued at 1, 10, and 100. Players can convert them into an account balance, earn money through tasks and rewards, and open their own shops with /vss_market open. A separate system shop sells items and command-based services through the inventory interface.
Community activities and player-organized projects run alongside normal survival. The forum supports event coordination, building showcases, group activities, custom chat prefixes, and requests for shared photos or other community additions.
The community is organized around the imc.moe forum, in-game communication, team play, shared building, and long-running player projects. Players can request help with claims, recover lost tombstones, migrate older buildings, and discuss changes to the current season through the server’s service posts.
Players are expected to respect others and take responsibility for their actions. Exploits and destructive behavior can be handled according to their impact. Valuable items should not be stored in resource worlds because those worlds reset, and some mod interactions or automation setups can be unstable enough to cause server problems.
iMinecraft is run as a public-interest server rather than a paid-rank network. The current gameplay economy is based on in-game coins, quests, rewards, and shops, with no progression path built around purchasable ranks or donation perks.
Resource worlds are designated dimensions or maps intended for renewable gathering while helping preserve another world for construction.
iMinecraft provides 64,000 by 64,000 resource worlds intended for mining and terrain work; these worlds reset periodically and are unsuitable for valuable storage.
A physical-item currency system uses collectible coin denominations as money that players can hold, convert, spend, or exchange.
The economy uses silver, gold, and crystal coins valued at 1, 10, and 100, with coins convertible into an account balance.
A technology progression layer adds machines, tools, processing, or automation while remaining part of a broader Minecraft experience.
The current lightweight technology pack provides an open-ended technical path with extra tools and systems without imposing a rigid factory ladder.
A team quest system lets members contribute toward shared objectives and view progress collectively rather than advancing only individually.
FTB teams share quest progress in the current pack, allowing coordinated groups to advance through its organized technology and survival objectives.
A server-operated shop lets players buy items or services through a standardized interface separate from player-run commerce.
The server provides an inventory-based system shop that sells items and command-based services through its shop interface.
Team-based land protection lets grouped players share claimed areas while controlling building and interaction permissions.
FTB teams share protected claims and configurable permissions, supporting cooperative bases while limiting unwanted block and interaction access.
A building migration system helps preserve or recreate selected structures when players move between separate world instances or seasons.
Selected buildings from the archived 11th season can be recreated in the 12th through blueprints and organized migration requests.
A recovery system preserves access to items associated with a player death through a tombstone or similar container.
Players can request staff assistance to recover lost tombstones, providing a documented support path for retrieving death-related items.
Community Feedback
Players commonly describe iMinecraft as relaxed and welcoming, with freedom for technical builds and a strong shared infrastructure. The current modded season also brings the usual rough edges of a large pack, including occasional connection, performance, and unstable-machine complaints.
Players Like
- Players praise the friendly atmosphere and how easily newcomers can join the community.
Players Dislike
- The large modpack and unstable mod interactions can create a rougher setup and play experience than a simple vanilla server.

History of iMinecraft
iMinecraft began in 2014 as a public-interest survival server built around long-term community play. Its seasons have kept the focus on ordinary Minecraft survival, building, technical projects, and a friendly shared world while adding practical server tools around that foundation.
The 11th season launched on August 8, 2025 as the server’s first major modded survival season. It introduced an enhanced vanilla-style pack and supported large technical builds, community infrastructure, and a long-running shared map.
The current 12th season opened on July 1, 2026 with a fresh save and a new lightweight technology pack. The previous 11th world was archived separately, while selected older buildings could be recreated in the new world through blueprints and organized migration requests.
