About OG SMP
Players build up a base, make money through the server economy, trade through a player-run market and decide how much risk to take in the warzone. OG SMP keeps the familiar survival loop at its center while adding homes, ranks, bounties, vote rewards and other server systems around the current Season 3 world.
What Makes It Different
OG SMP keeps its survival mechanics relatively recognizable but gives the world several reasons to leave a protected base. The Season 3 market, black market, bounty board, warzone and KOTH area turn trading and PvP into connected parts of the same survival economy.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
The familiar survival loop remains intact while economy, homes, ranks, markets, bounties, and PvP systems add server-specific structure.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Season 3 includes a player-run market with stalls and trading between players.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server centers on a shared multiplayer survival world where players build bases, gather resources, and progress together.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Gathering, crafting, building, exploration, resource management, and ordinary Minecraft survival progression are the core activities.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Money, an admin shop, player market, black market, selling bonuses, and reinvestment are central to progression.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
The warzone, bounty system, combat-log rules, and KOTH area make player combat a substantial optional activity.
Gather resources, build a base, explore the world and use homes or random teleport to move around the map. Spawn serves as the main hub for the admin shop, player market, rewards and other server utilities, while the wider world supports ordinary survival building and resource gathering.
Progression mixes normal Minecraft gear with money, rank upgrades, homes and market access. Players can sell selected resources through the admin shop, reinvest earnings into better equipment or services and use rank perks to expand convenience features such as home capacity.
Server-side additions include vote crates, bounties, chat games, mob-stacking rules, custom homes, money boosters and expanded protection against x-ray-style block scanning. These systems sit on top of ordinary survival rather than replacing it with a heavily modded client experience.
Season 3 uses a large overworld border with separate limits for the Nether and End. The network also maintains dedicated areas or worlds for the market, AFK room, memorial and map-art museum, giving the survival map more structure than a single undivided wilderness.
PvP is concentrated around the warzone, bounty hunting and the KOTH area. Bounties can place a visible target and reward on a player, while combat-log protections and restrictions add consequences to leaving a fight. Active KOTH matches turn a dedicated area into a timed contest for control.
The economy includes an admin shop, player-run market stalls and a black market. Season 3 introduced a large market with dynamic stall pricing, while money boosters can temporarily improve selling prices in selected shop categories. Player shops and trading give the economy a social layer beyond selling directly to the server.
KOTH is the clearest recurring Season 3 event, giving players a 15-minute king-of-the-hill fight with a temporary contested zone. The wider OG Network has also run seasonal, holiday and anniversary activities across its modes.
OG SMP is part of OG Network, which maintains a public forum, update archive and community channels around its Minecraft modes. The player-facing material is primarily in English, and the network continues to publish patch notes and event announcements.
Season 3 rules and protections include anti-xray measures, a maximum of 10 alternate accounts per player and a prohibition on VPS-style methods for running alts. Combat logging is tracked, and players who log out during combat can be exposed or restricted from protected areas.
The network sells ranks and other store items. Monetized perks include extra homes, cosmetic or chat features and rank-specific market or convenience benefits. Free progression also exists through voting, daily rewards and vote crates.
Bounties place rewards on players, creating targeted combat objectives beyond ordinary encounters and general player hunting.
Players can become visible bounty targets with rewards attached, connecting bounty hunting to the server's warzone PvP.
King of the Hill challenges players or teams to contest a designated area and hold it against opponents during organized PvP encounters.
OG SMP runs a 15-minute KOTH fight in a temporary contested zone where players compete for control.
Dynamic pricing changes market values over time or in response to trading activity, making buying and selling decisions fluctuate.
Season 3 uses dynamic pricing for market stalls, making player-market pricing a changing part of the economy.
A restricted or specialized marketplace offering unusual, rare, or otherwise distinct player trading opportunities.
Season 3 adds a black market alongside the admin shop and player market, giving the economy another trading venue.
A warzone is a designated area where players can engage in organized or open combat under server-specific PvP rules.
The warzone concentrates optional PvP away from ordinary survival activities and connects with bounties and KOTH combat.
Combat logging controls prevent or penalize players who disconnect during active player-versus-player engagements.
Combat-log tracking can expose or restrict players who disconnect during fights, including limitations on protected areas.
A home system lets players save locations and teleport back to them, usually with limits on the number of saved destinations.
Players use custom homes for travel, while rank perks can expand the number of homes available to them.
An admin shop is a server-operated marketplace where players spend in-game currency on listed resources or useful items.
Players sell selected resources through the admin shop, then reinvest the resulting money into equipment or other services.
