About Oakheart
Oakheart is a survival SMP where gathering resources, building bases, trading, and exploring are supported by a broader social layer. Player towns, ranks, claims, quests, custom enchantments, shops, pets, and community events give the world more structure than a plain vanilla survival server, while the server’s identity remains centered on a close-knit player community.
What Makes It Different
Oakheart stands out for combining a conventional survival economy with a formal Player Council. The server also puts unusual emphasis on its hand-built spawn, interactive NPCs, hidden deals, town progression, and community-run activities instead of treating spawn as only a teleport hub.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
The server retains ordinary survival progression while adding custom enchantments, quests, pets, ranks, economy systems, and other extensions.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
Oakheart is organized as a multiplayer survival world where players build, trade, explore, and progress alongside one another.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival building, gathering, exploration, gear progression, and long-term bases form Oakheart’s main player experience.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Money, NPC trading, player shops, ranks, and reinvestment are substantial parts of the server’s progression.
The main experience is cooperative survival with protected building areas, homes, teleport options, player shops, NPC trading, quests, and exploration. Players can settle into towns, build long-term bases, gather resources, and use community spaces rather than being pushed into short competitive matches.
Progression combines ordinary Minecraft gear with rank-up paths, town development, quests, economy earnings, custom enchantments, claims, and collectible or special items. Players can make money through gathering, farming, trading, and NPC shops, then reinvest it into ranks, equipment, town improvements, or convenience features.
Custom content has included enchantments beyond standard vanilla limits, mob pets, quest scrolls, player vaults, a custom resource pack, art-map builds, board games, special items, interactive NPCs, and dedicated council spaces.
Oakheart’s world is organized around a large custom-built spawn town with themed buildings, secrets, rivers, mountains, NPCs, and community facilities. Players can also establish towns and personal bases, giving the wider survival world a settled, player-shaped character.
PvP exists as a secondary activity, including dedicated arena-style fighting, but Oakheart’s main focus is survival, building, economy, and community interaction rather than competitive combat.
The economy supports buying and selling through spawn NPCs, player-run chest shops, and other trading systems. Town development and rank progression give players longer-term reasons to earn money, while special merchants and custom items add variety beyond ordinary vanilla trading.
Community activities have included seasonal event parks, monthly events, vote parties, hide-and-seek around spawn, player-run activities, musicals, and other small games connected to the main survival world.
Oakheart is designed around a smaller, social survival community. The Player Council gives players a formal way to raise concerns and influence server decisions, while community activities and shared spaces encourage players to spend time together beyond ordinary resource gathering.
The server’s established rules prohibit griefing, raiding, cheating, exploit abuse, and harassment. Players are expected to treat others respectfully, use only permitted modifications, and keep communication appropriate for the community.
Oakheart has long presented its monetization as non-pay-to-win. Supporter ranks, cosmetics, crates, and convenience-related rewards have been paired with gameplay systems that can also be accessed through normal play.
A player council is a formal representative body through which community members raise concerns, discuss changes, and influence server decisions.
Oakheart’s Player Council represents player concerns, discusses server changes, helps organize activities, and provides feedback on server management.
A custom spawn town is a deliberately built starting settlement combining arrival infrastructure with themed buildings, services, and shared spaces.
Oakheart’s large hand-built spawn town includes themed structures, rivers, mountains, NPCs, community facilities, and areas to discover.
Custom enchantments add server-defined equipment effects or upgrade options beyond Minecraft's standard enchantment system.
Oakheart has featured enchantments beyond standard vanilla limits, adding extra equipment progression alongside ordinary survival gear.
NPC merchants are non-player characters that offer items, services, or exchanges through server-defined interactions.
Oakheart uses spawn NPCs for buying and selling, including special merchants and hidden deals beyond ordinary player shops.
Player settlements advance through increasingly developed civic stages that expand their organizational scale, status, or capabilities.
Oakheart connects town development with longer-term survival progression, giving established settlements reasons to improve beyond individual bases.
Interactive NPCs are non-player characters that provide conversations, services, directions, quests, or other world interactions.
Oakheart’s custom spawn uses interactive NPCs for community facilities, exploration, and hidden points of interest.
Hidden secrets are concealed discoveries or information that reward exploration, observation, or investigation.

History of Oakheart
Oakheart began in June 2021 as a survival server created by Krxnos, Shan, Bvbbles, and Arch. Its early identity was shaped by a large hand-built spawn town, hidden NPCs and secrets, town progression, and a Player Council intended to give players a formal voice in server decisions.
By 2022, Oakheart had developed its original SMP with economy features, quests, custom enchantments, shops, events, and community activities, while also experimenting with a separate semi-vanilla server. The OakheartMC survival endpoint remains active under the Oakheart name.
