About Mojinomori (文字の森)
Mojinomori combines a relaxed survival SMP with built-in flashcard practice. Players can study hiragana, katakana, JLPT N5–N1, HSK 1–6, and kanji, then use earned coins for shops, plots, and decorative blocks while building around a shared world. The study systems are optional, so the server can also be played as a straightforward community survival world.
What Makes It Different
Language practice is tied directly to the server economy instead of sitting apart from survival play. Players earn coins through study sessions and can compete in live 1v1 answer duels where the winner takes the wagered coins.
Practice servers let players repeatedly train and test specific Minecraft skills in short, controlled challenges rather than build toward long-term world progression.
Optional flashcard sessions, progress tracking, leaderboards, and live answer contests are a central custom activity.

Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.

Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Players gather resources, explore, build homes, and develop settlements through ordinary survival play.
The main experience is a shared survival world with towns, roads, player builds, exploration, ordinary resource gathering, and optional study activities. Practice Mode presents flashcard questions at the player's pace, tracks mistakes and progress, and contributes to leaderboards. Live duels turn the same knowledge tests into short head-to-head contests.
Players build progress in two connected ways. Survival play develops a home, town, supplies, and protected land, while practice sessions and duels provide coins and recorded study progress. Coins can be spent on shops, plots, and decorative blocks for expanding and customizing a settlement.
The server adds custom flashcard systems for hiragana, katakana, Japanese kanji, JLPT N5–N1, and Mandarin HSK 1–6. It also provides progress tracking, leaderboards, practice sessions, and live study duels without requiring a separate gameplay-focused mode.

Coins are earned through language practice and can also change hands through live study duels. The economy is used for shops, plots, and decoration blocks, giving players a reason to keep practicing even when they are mainly focused on building.
The server is aimed at a smaller, relaxed community where players can build, chat, help one another, and participate at their own pace. Players who are not studying Japanese or Mandarin can still use the world as a normal survival SMP.
No pay-to-win ranks, kits, or gameplay advantages are advertised. Public server descriptions present the network as avoiding VIP ranks and god kits that would affect survival progression.
Language learning features help players study vocabulary, writing systems, or proficiency levels through interactive activities.
Players can practice Japanese and Mandarin through hiragana, katakana, kanji, JLPT N5–N1, and HSK 1–6 content.
Flashcards present prompts and answers for repeated recall practice, helping players review and track knowledge over time.
Practice Mode presents language flashcard questions at the player’s pace while recording mistakes and study progress.
