About StarryMC
StarryMC is a cozy vanilla+ survival server where players build bases, run player shops, join community events, and shape a shared world without an anarchy-first ruleset. The network keeps ordinary survival social and low-pressure, with quality-of-life systems, collectible cosmetics, and a separate combat path for players who want more risk.
What Makes It Different
StarryMC separates relaxed survival from its more dangerous combat offering instead of turning every build and supply run into open warfare. Builders and social players get a calmer home, while a dedicated Mace PvP and raiding experience provides a higher-risk alternative.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
StarryMC preserves ordinary survival progression while adding custom cosmetics, datapacks, plugins, and quality-of-life systems.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Player shops, a shopping district, and player-to-player trading are established parts of the survival world.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server centers on shared multiplayer survival, communities, towns, projects, shops, and a persistent shared world.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Gathering, crafting, exploration, building, farms, and long-term bases define the primary experience.
Core play is vanilla+ survival: gather, craft, explore, build, trade, and work on long-term bases or community builds. Player shops, convenience commands, homes, warps, and other quality-of-life systems reduce routine friction without replacing the normal Minecraft loop.
Progression stays close to ordinary survival rather than using a level ladder. Better gear, established bases, farms, shops, community projects, and access to additional convenience perks define the long-term climb.
Vanilla+ additions include custom cosmetics, collectible plushies, and player-facing quality-of-life systems. Paid ranks add utility such as extra homes and warps, temporary flight, crafting and ender-chest access, random teleport, repair tools, item renaming, and cosmetic effects.
A shared survival world built for long-term bases, farms, shops, communities, and events. The server's main appeal is its player-shaped world rather than a special map gimmick or regularly reset format.
Ordinary survival is peaceful, with PvP confined to dedicated areas or modes. The combat side adds Mace PvP and raiding, so players can choose between protected building and higher-stakes fights.
Player shops and trading give the survival world a player-driven economy. The store also sells Stars, ranks, cosmetics, keys, and convenience perks, while presenting paid benefits as quality-of-life or cosmetic rather than combat power.
Community events are part of StarryMC's social calendar, alongside building projects, shared activities, and seasonal additions.
Discord is the main social hub, with a friendly and welcoming focus around meeting other Minecraft players, coordinating builds, and joining events.
StarryMC is not an anarchy server, and griefing is not part of the intended survival experience. PvP boundaries depend on the area or mode, with ordinary survival kept separate from dedicated combat spaces.
The official store sells paid ranks, cosmetic content, keys, Stars currency, and convenience perks. Listed rank benefits include chat and rank tags, homes, warps, temporary or extended flight, utility commands, and cosmetic effects. The store presents the system as quality-of-life focused rather than pay-to-win.
A separate combat mode isolates higher-risk player fighting from a server's main cooperative or protected environment.
StarryMC offers a distinct Mace PvP SMP with raiding, allowing combat-focused play without making ordinary survival universally dangerous.
A survival environment where direct player combat is disabled, allowing building and progression without ordinary PvP attacks.
StarryMC keeps ordinary survival peaceful or area-limited for PvP, directing higher-risk fights to dedicated combat experiences.
Collectible plush-themed items or decorations that players acquire, display, and use to personalize their Minecraft spaces.
StarryMC adds custom plushies as collectible cosmetic content alongside its broader selection of non-combat cosmetics.
No-griefing rules restrict intentional destruction or disruption of other players' builds and possessions in a shared multiplayer world.
StarryMC does not treat griefing as permitted play in its ordinary survival experience, protecting the server's low-pressure building environment.
Home teleport commands let players mark personal locations and return to established bases or safe points.
StarryMC ranks can provide extra homes, letting players maintain more personal return points for bases and projects.
Cosmetic effects provide visual customization such as trails, weapon effects, or elimination effects without defining core survival progression.
Paid ranks and store offerings include cosmetic effects, while the store presents benefits as non-pay-to-win.
Warp travel provides named or designated teleport destinations for moving efficiently between important server locations.
StarryMC lists warps among its quality-of-life systems and rank benefits, reducing travel friction around the shared world.
Temporary flight grants players aerial movement for a limited duration or through a time-limited server reward.
Some StarryMC rank benefits include temporary or extended flight as a convenience option rather than a combat advantage.
Collaborative Minecraft builds or infrastructure created by multiple players for shared use or to shape their common world.
Players are encouraged to contribute to community builds, farms, towns, and other shared long-term projects.
Random teleportation moves players to a randomly selected location, helping them reach unexplored areas without choosing exact coordinates.
Random teleport is listed as a StarryMC convenience utility, giving players an additional way to reach the survival world.

History of StarryMC
Starry's community dates back to June 10, 2023. By January 2025, Starry SMP was being built as a long-term survival world with community builds, farms, towns, events, a shopping district, and custom datapacks and plugins, while keeping griefing and anarchy out of ordinary play.
By August 2026, the network was presenting a broader StarryMC identity with a casual survival experience and a separate Mace PvP SMP built around raiding and higher combat risk. The current setup centers on a vanilla+ survival world with player shops, events, collectible cosmetics, and quality-of-life systems.
