About MellowCraft
MellowCraft centers ordinary survival play around building, exploration and shared community projects, then adds land claims, McMMO, jobs, an economy and a curated selection of custom items. Java and Bedrock players can join the same network, while the server keeps its identity closer to semi-vanilla SMP than to a heavily modded or minigame-first network.
What Makes It Different
MellowCraft focuses on adding structure without replacing the familiar survival experience. Its custom items are presented alongside claims, jobs and McMMO as light-touch additions intended to expand survival rather than turn the server into a separate modpack-style game.
Semi-Vanilla servers keep Minecraft’s ordinary survival progression while adding a limited set of server-specific changes around it.
Its core experience preserves ordinary Minecraft survival while adding a limited set of server-specific systems and custom content.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Curated custom items are directly advertised as a distinguishing addition intended to expand survival without replacing Minecraft's core character.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is explicitly a survival SMP where players build, explore, cooperate, and progress in a shared world.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
MellowCraft is consistently presented as a survival server centered on gathering, building, exploration, and shared-world progression.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Land claims are directly listed and protect player builds within the survival world.
The main experience is survival SMP play: gather resources, build, explore and spend time with other players in a shared world. Land claims protect player builds, while jobs, McMMO and the economy add longer-term activities beyond basic resource gathering. Community events are also part of the server's feature set.
Progression combines survival construction and exploration with McMMO skills, jobs, ranks and custom items. The server's public feature set emphasizes gradual character and community development rather than a single linear campaign or a narrowly competitive ladder.
The server uses a curated selection of custom items designed to add variety while keeping the core Minecraft feel intact. McMMO, jobs, land claims, ranks and economy systems provide further customization without evidence of a required custom launcher or modpack.
MellowCraft is built around a semi-vanilla SMP world where players can build, explore, collaborate and protect their land with claims. No separate current-world structure, reset schedule or public live map is established in the supplied material.
PvP and PvE are both associated with MellowCraft, but the server is primarily presented as a survival community rather than a factions, war or raiding network. Players should check the current rules for the precise relationship between combat, land claims and protected builds.
An in-game economy and jobs are part of the advertised survival experience, giving players additional ways to participate in trade and progression. The official store also has separate categories for Bits and Keys, alongside ranks and rank upgrades.
Community events are part of MellowCraft's feature set, and the store describes purchases as helping fund additional content, events and improvements. No named recurring event calendar or tournament history is available.
MellowCraft links its Discord as the main community hub. The public Discord presence is sizeable, with roughly 3,200 members shown on the invite page, and the server description emphasizes welcoming, collaborative play.
MellowCraft is free to join and provides Java and Bedrock connection paths. Players should review the current server rules and Discord guidance before playing, particularly for claim protection, combat, griefing and appeals information.
The official store includes Amethyst Survival, Bits, Keys, Ranks, Rank Upgrades, Cosmetics and Extras. Its welcome message says purchases support the server's content, events and continued improvements.
Rank progression lets players advance through server ranks that provide recognition, access, or other gameplay and community benefits.
MellowCraft names ranks and rank upgrades as part of progression, with dedicated Ranks and Rank Upgrades sections in its official store.
