About McPlayHD.net
McPlayHD.net is a Java minigame network built around FastBuilder. Players practice bridging across open gaps, chase faster times, and repeat difficult techniques until their movement improves. The mode is especially useful for BedWars players who want sharper bridging skills.
The network also offers BedWars, Quakecraft, Slender, Minesweeper, Moorhuhn and other short games. Matches are quick to understand, while leaderboards, personal bests and custom game mechanics give skilled players reasons to keep practicing.
What Makes It Different
McPlayHD feels different because FastBuilder turns bridging into its own competitive skill game. You can focus on one technique, try again quickly, and chase a better time.
It also mixes serious movement practice with unusual games such as Slender, Moorhuhn and Minecraft Minesweeper.
Bridging Practice is a Minecraft training mode where players place blocks beneath or ahead of themselves while moving across open space.
FastBuilder is the server's defining mode and is designed specifically to train Minecraft bridging techniques.
Competitive Minecraft gameplay centers on outperforming other players in contests with a clear winner, score, or relative result.
FastBuilder times, personal bests, statistics and leaderboards make competition central to the experience.
Minigames are compact Minecraft games with their own rules, objective, and bounded play area, usually resolved in a single round.
The server is fundamentally a network of short competitive and arcade-style minigames.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Quakecraft and BedWars provide direct player-versus-player combat.
FastBuilder gives you blocks, a starting platform and a target to reach. Build across the gap while staying alive and finish as quickly as possible. Different formats include Normal, Inclined and OneStack practice.
The other games use short rounds with clear goals. In Quakecraft, use a railgun in free-for-all combat. In BedWars, destroy enemy beds before eliminating the other teams. Slender, Minesweeper and Moorhuhn offer very different challenges between practice runs.
Progress is measured through better times, wins, blocks placed and personal bests. FastBuilder has separate statistics and leaderboards for its modes, with staff review for qualifying best times.
There is no survival-style gear ladder. Improvement comes from learning movement, lowering your time and competing on the boards. Emeralds and cosmetic unlocks add a lighter reward track.
FastBuilder is the network's signature custom mode, with timed bridging formats, mode-specific statistics, personal records and themed islands. The network also runs original versions of Slender, Minesweeper and Moorhuhn.
BedWars, Quakecraft, CakeDefense and SnowBattle add more traditional round-based competition to the lineup.
McPlayHD is organized around a lobby and separate minigame servers instead of one persistent survival world. Players move between compact arenas, courses and challenge maps.
The setup is designed for repeated rounds. You can switch from a serious bridging session to a shooter, puzzle or horror game without leaving the network.
Quakecraft is a free-for-all shooter where players use railguns and compete for kills. BedWars adds team combat, beds, respawns and final eliminations.
Teaming is forbidden across the network. Abusive spawn killing and spawn trapping are also forbidden in BedWars, so combat is meant to stay focused on the actual match.
Emeralds are the network's main in-game currency for cosmetic features. Players can receive emerald rewards through server progression and special bonuses, while the store sells additional emerald packages and rank bonuses.
The economy mainly supports cosmetics, lobby effects and personalization rather than survival trading or player-owned shops.
The network sometimes runs special projects and building contests alongside its regular games. Parkour-map building contests are part of its current event activity, while past side projects have included a reaction test and seasonal FastBuilder themes.
McPlayHD has a Discord community for player discussion, support and rank verification. Its competitive players share bridging techniques, compare personal records and practice movement styles such as ninja bridging, godbridging and related methods.
The community is most useful for players who enjoy improving a specific skill and watching other players push high-level movement.
Players must treat others respectfully and avoid spam, insults, hate speech, threats, advertising and harmful links. Teaming is forbidden in every game, and exploiting bugs or glitches is not allowed.
Only the official desktop Java Edition client is supported. The rules allow listed cosmetic mods such as OptiFine, Replay Mod, LabyMod, Badlion and Lunar Client with restricted features. Advantage-giving modifications, autoclickers, click macros and similar tools are forbidden.
The store sells Premium, VIP and Plus-style ranks, emerald packages and cosmetic items. Rank perks include lobby effects, FastBuilder cosmetics, extra emeralds, faster best-time review and the ability to join full servers.
Some higher ranks also add conveniences such as nicknames, quicker game starts, lobby flight and extra gadgets. These purchases are aimed at cosmetics, convenience and server support.

History of McPlayHD.net
McPlayHD began on July 24, 2013, when its first four-slot game server was rented. A real lobby followed during the same month, giving the project a central place for players to meet and choose games.
In July 2014, Slender became the network's first self-coded plugin. This marked an early shift from a small server toward original minigame development.
The first version of FastBuilder arrived on June 10, 2015. Minesweeper followed on August 30, and FastBuilder 2.0 launched on September 4. The present-day form of McPlayHD received its earliest full release on September 13, 2015.
FastBuilder quickly became the network's defining mode. Five FastBuilder servers were running by November 2015, parallel processing work followed in December, and the network reached seven FastBuilder servers in January 2016.
The mode continued to receive major map and lobby work. The original FastBuilder map arrived in February 2016, along with a larger lobby update. FastBuilder Ghost and the Moorhuhn minigame appeared in March 2016, while a reaction-test project followed in April.
McPlayHD later expanded its supporting systems. A cryptocurrency purchase was added in July 2021, and a StatsBot arrived in August 2021. Public statistics and leaderboards became a larger part of the competitive experience.
Over time, the network kept its mix of skill training and compact minigames. FastBuilder remained the main attraction, while BedWars, Quakecraft, Slender, Minesweeper, Moorhuhn and additional games broadened the choice of short activities.
Today, McPlayHD is a Java-focused competitive minigame network. Its identity comes from precise bridging practice, fast retries, personal records and a long-running collection of small original games.
