About HungryBirds Network
HungryBirds Network is a survival SMP where you gather materials, build a base, explore, trade, and play with friends. The in-game economy gives resources extra value and adds another path to progress.
It also has a sharper competitive side. PvP, practice modes, and a Battle Royale mode inspired by Hoplite offer faster ways to fight beyond the main survival world. Java and Bedrock players can join through separate addresses.
What Makes It Different
HungryBirds does not choose between a relaxed survival world and fast combat. You can build wealth in the SMP, then switch to practice or Battle Royale when you want action. Java and Bedrock support also lets friends on different devices play together.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is consistently identified as an SMP.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Competitive player combat is a defining part of the network.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Survival is the central persistent mode.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Trading and in-game currency are core supporting systems.
Start with survival basics: collect wood and ores, craft gear, build a base, and explore. Trade gives extra resources a use beyond storage. When you want a quicker match, practice and Battle Royale offer a change from normal survival.
Progress comes from better resources, stronger gear, and growing wealth. The economy rewards players who gather, trade, and spend wisely. PvP-focused players also have dedicated ways to improve their fighting.
Battle Royale and dedicated practice modes add activities beyond the SMP. The Battle Royale format is inspired by Hoplite, with resource gathering, combat, and a last-player-standing finish.
The main experience centers on a survival world for exploration, building, trade, and player-made adventures.
PvP is a major part of the server’s identity. Practice modes focus on training, while Battle Royale centers on gathering resources, fighting enemies, and becoming the last player standing. The overall mood is more competitive than a peaceful SMP.
An in-game economy lets players earn, trade, and spend currency. It adds a second goal beyond building: turn useful resources into wealth, then use that wealth to support your plans.
Players can team up, build together, trade resources, and compete in combat. The server’s Sri Lankan identity is paired with Java and Bedrock access for a wider player base.
Joining the server is free.

History of HungryBirds Network
HungryBirds emerged in July 2026 as a Sri Lankan Minecraft survival SMP. Its foundation was straightforward: gathering resources, building bases, trading with other players, and surviving in a world where player combat remained part of the experience.
From the beginning, survival was paired with competition. Players could pursue long-term projects and build wealth, but they could also seek fights, test their abilities, and improve through combat.
During July and August 2026, a new SMP season became part of the server’s early public identity. This gave the network a renewed survival focus while preserving the competitive character that shaped its first period.
The network’s identity also expanded beyond ordinary survival during this early era. Practice modes offered dedicated PvP training and challenges, giving players a separate place to develop their skills.
Around the same period, HungryBirds introduced a Battle Royale experience inspired by Hoplite. This added a faster, more match-focused style of play alongside the persistent world of the SMP.
By August 2026, both HungryBirds SMP and HungryBirds Network were being used for the same Minecraft network connected through mc.hungrybirds.xyz. The two names reflected the server’s survival roots and its broader collection of game modes.
The network also developed as a cross-play experience. Java and Bedrock players were intentionally supported through separate endpoints, allowing both editions to participate in the HungryBirds community.
Today, HungryBirds combines its original survival identity with economy, PvP, practice, and Battle Royale gameplay. It remains a cross-play network where players can build and trade over time, compete in combat, train their skills, or enter faster competitive matches.
