About DonutSMP
DonutSMP is one giant survival world shared by a huge crowd of players, with no lobby or minigames. You start with nothing, then farm, mine and trade to earn money. Java and Bedrock players can join, and the server is in English.
Most of the game is about money and fights. You sell items to the server with /sell, list them on the Auction House or fill other players' buy orders. Bases are not safe, so players hide them far away while others hunt for them. PvP is open almost everywhere, and many fights use end crystals, known as Crystal PvP.
What Makes It Different
In 2026 it became one of the most played Minecraft servers in the world, at times passing Hypixel, while still being a single survival world.

You spread out from spawn with random teleport, then build farms and bases to make money. Hidden bases are often found and raided, so many players keep their most valuable items spread out or on the move.
Everyone plays in the same single world, and Bedrock breaking and TNT duping were turned on in June 2026. A bigger world border is planned, but no release date has been given.
PvP is on in the open world, and Crystal PvP with end crystals and totems is the main fighting style. You can put money on another player's head with /bounty.
Money is the main currency. You earn it with /sell, the Auction House and player buy orders, and since June 2026 /sell and auction listings automatically go to a buy order when it pays more. Shards are a second currency for the Shard Shop, which sells strong tools, netherite gear and the Mace.
Hacked clients, movement or inventory mods, freecam, auto-clickers and macros are banned. Selling items or money for real cash, using more than five accounts and hunting for the world seed are not allowed.
Free to play. The store sells monthly ranks (Donut+, Donut++ and Donut+++, each lasting 30 days) and shards. Purchases are usually final and not refunded.
You can post a buy order for any item, and other players fill it to get paid right away.
You list items for money on the Auction House, and Quick Buy finds the cheapest matching listing for you.
You can trade items face to face or send money to other players with /pay.
Bases are not protected, so players hunt for hidden bases and take what is inside.
Random teleport sends you far from spawn, and an RTP queue was added in beta in June 2026.
Spawners stack and store their drops, and new ones can no longer be bought, so players trade the ones that exist.
You can add money to any player's bounty with /bounty so others will hunt them down.
The /sell command buys your items at set prices, or sends them to a player order if that pays more.
Every online player gets one shard for every ten minutes of playtime, with no rank needed.
PvP is on across the world, and most serious fights use end crystals and totems.
Shards are a second currency spent in the Shard Shop on special tools, netherite gear and the Mace.
Proximity voice chat lets you talk to players who are close to you in the game.
Java and Bedrock players share the same survival world and economy.

History of DonutSMP
DonutSMP was started by the YouTuber and streamer DrDonut, who is known for Crystal PvP. Its first season ended after the economy got too inflated and duping spread, and the second season is meant to be permanent. In early 2026 it became one of the most played Minecraft servers, at times passing Hypixel. On June 2, 2026 Teams and the Duels mode were removed. The Big June Update later that month linked /sell and the Auction House to buy orders, turned the shop into Quick Buy and started giving shards for playtime.
