About Desteria
Desteria is a long-running Minecraft network best known for Factions, where teams claim land, build bases, raid rivals, and compete for economic dominance. Its wider network also offers Skyblock, Survival, Prison, Creative, and Cobblemon.
What Makes It Different
Desteria blends old-school faction warfare with deep custom progression. Classes, custom enchants, economies, claims, and timed seasons give every team more ways to prepare, attack, and climb.
Factions is a Minecraft multiplayer mode where players join organized groups, build shared bases, and compete with rival groups for territory, resources, and strategic advantage.
Desteria's defining historical and competitive mode is team-based Factions with claims, bases, raids, and rival warfare.
Classes let players choose a defined gameplay role that changes how they approach combat, exploration, survival, or teamwork.
Factions includes named classes with different combat and support abilities that improve through class ranks.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
The current entry point prominently features the network's active Skyblock realm.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
PvP is central to Factions and remains present through arenas, KoTH, island regions, and raids.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Island value, dynamic prices, auctions, shops, Lemons, and faction rankings make economy play a major part of the network.
Custom Items are server-created weapons, tools, armor, or usable objects with abilities or properties beyond Minecraft’s standard items.
Custom enchantments, robots, value tools, trophy items, crates, and seasonal rewards materially change progression.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Claimed faction territory, corners, buffers, and island regions are important defensive systems.
The current entry point focuses on Skyblock. Start with a small island, build farms, collect mob drops, craft spawners, and turn your island into a working production base. The wider network also includes Survival, Prison, Creative, Cobblemon, and Factions.
Skyblock progression centers on island value, upgrades, spawners, robots, and Souls earned from kills. Farmer, Slayer, and Miner Robots can be upgraded through five tiers. Factions progression uses class levels and class ranks, with new abilities unlocked as you advance.
Custom enchantments come in Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary tiers, with success and destruction chances when applied. Skyblock also includes Value Portals, Value Wands, robots, trophy plushies, island regions, and reclaim storage for selected seasonal items.
Skyblock is built around personal islands that can be expanded and upgraded. Factions uses seasonal maps with enhanced terrain, claimed territory, separate Nether and End areas, and limited strategic corners for competing teams.
Skyblock has a larger PvP arena, KoTH events, and island regions where owners can enable PvP. Factions adds territorial warfare, shields, raids, TNT cannoning, and wither attacks after the grace period ends.
Skyblock uses Lemons alongside standard in-game money. Players sell crops, ores, mob drops, and other resources through the server economy, while auction houses and chest shops support player trading. Sell prices can change with demand.
Skyblock rewards the top three islands with Lemons each week. KoTH contests, Dragon Drops, seasonal resets, voting rewards, and community activities add extra goals outside normal island building.
Discord is the main social and support hub. Players can use tickets for rule questions, bug reports, purchase issues, and ban appeals. Account verification unlocks additional community features, while support remains available without verification.
Cheats, unfair modifications, exploit abuse, malicious links, threats, doxing, advertising other servers, illegal traps, and harmful alternate-account behavior are prohibited. Factions also have rules for corner claims, buffer claims, active raids, nuisance claims, and protection against value-damaging insider abuse.
The store offers ranks, rank upgrades, crate keys, kits, items, perks, Lemons, claim blocks, and faction boosters across the network. Permanent ranks and access packages remain after resets, while most Skyblock progress is wiped when a new season begins.

History of Desteria
Desteria emerged in the mid-2010s from Minecraft server projects built around iLemon. The network was active by 2014, establishing the foundation for the long-running server associated with desteria.com and pvp.desteria.com.
By 2015, Desteria had grown into a large Factions server. Factions became an important part of its early identity, centered on competition, territory, and organized player groups.
Over time, the project developed beyond its original Factions focus. Its network expanded across modes including Prison, Survival, Creative, and Cobblemon, while continuing to support both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition.
The network also built out systems that shaped progression and competition. Custom enchantments use four tiers, with success and destruction chances that make upgrades risky. Scrolls can protect or modify items, adding another layer to equipment progression.
Desteria remained connected to the wider Lemon Gaming operation and development team. In its current form, the network uses LemonCloud branding and infrastructure, linking the older Desteria identity with a broader multi-mode network.
Skyblock is now presented as the active mode on the current network. Its season relaunched on July 25, 2026, resetting most island progress while preserving permanent ranks and access packages.
The modern network combines recurring competition with community activities. Skyblock rewards the top three islands with weekly Lemons, while KoTH events, voting rewards, seasonal competitions, and other community events provide additional ways to participate.
Today, Desteria is a cross-platform network carrying its Factions-era history into a wider LemonCloud identity. Its current experience spans competitive and progression-based modes, supported by persistent ranks, store-based items and perks, and rules intended to protect fair play and the community.
