About Craftplay.de
You can spend one visit expanding a plot or player city, then switch to a floating island, a OneBlock phase ladder, a claimed Freebuild area or a theme-park map without leaving Craftplay.de. The network focuses on long-term building and resource progression, with jobs, player trading, claims, minions, custom storage and several server-wide quality-of-life systems connecting its modes.
What Makes It Different
Aderblock gives Craftplay a more unusual progression path than its regular building modes. Each player starts in a protected underground cave, expands the available space, gathers resources, earns trader tokens and unlocks production systems through custom plugins rather than a client-side mod.
CityBuild is a Minecraft building mode where players develop homes, businesses, and public spaces into connected urban districts.
Plotserver, player towns, commercial spaces, and persistent building districts make urban construction a major network activity.
Freebuild is a Minecraft building mode centered on creating structures and landscapes without a required combat, quest, or level-progression path.
Freebuild provides claimed territories, resource worlds, player trade, and open-ended construction as a persistent mode.
OneBlock is a Minecraft mode built around repeatedly mining one regenerating block to gather resources and advance through phases.
OneBlock is a named current mode with progression through changing phases from a single starting block.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
Skyblock is a current persistent mode centered on floating islands, generators, minions, and resource progression.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The network includes a dedicated Survival mode using ordinary gathering, crafting, exploration, building, and equipment progression with server conveniences.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Currencies, jobs, player shops, server shops, commercial spaces, and purchasable progression extras support an important cross-mode economy.
Land claims are protected areas that let a player or group control who can build, break, and interact with blocks inside a marked part of the world.
Plots, player towns, and Freebuild territories use protected claims and permissions for player construction and settlement.
Player Shops are player-run places or interfaces where players sell items to other players for currency or agreed trade goods.
Player shops and trading are explicitly documented parts of the Freebuild and wider network economy.
The network is split into several persistent modes. Plotserver focuses on buying and developing plots, Spielerstädte lets players establish larger claimed settlements, Freebuild combines claims with resource worlds and player trade, and Survival keeps the ordinary Minecraft loop with conveniences such as homes. Skyblock and OneBlock provide island progression, while minigames, a theme park and Aderblock add shorter or more specialized activities.
Progress depends on the mode you choose. Plotserver and Citybuild reward larger or better-developed building areas, Skyblock uses islands, generators and minions, and OneBlock advances through changing phases from a single starting block. Freebuild and Survival add jobs, money, claims, equipment and playtime ranks. Aderblock uses cave expansion, generators, machines, trader tokens and quests as its main ladder.
Craftplay adds server-side systems including jobs, skills, quests, clans, custom crafting recipes, backpacks, an angel chest that protects dropped items for a period, virtual storage, player shops, vehicles, minions, collectible head sets, pipes, automaters and server-specific generators. Aderblock extends this with custom cave, production and trader mechanics while remaining playable with a normal vanilla Minecraft client.
The network includes plot areas, player-run towns, claimed Freebuild territories, resource worlds, floating Skyblock islands, OneBlock islands, Survival worlds, a curated theme park and protected underground Aderblock caves. Resource worlds are intended for gathering and may be reset periodically, while building areas preserve player-made work subject to each mode's inactivity rules.
Craftplay uses separate in-game currencies such as Taler and Skytaler. Players can earn money through jobs and ordinary resource gathering, trade through player shops and server shops, rent or develop commercial spaces, and spend currency on extras such as backpacks, virtual storage, vehicles, decorative heads and minions.
The network runs build events, parkour activities, daily Freebuild events and other community challenges. Monthly vote and collectible-head boxes also rotate through new themes, and the forum and Discord are used for announcements and changelogs.
Craftplay is a German-speaking network with an official forum, Discord, wiki and support channels. The wiki covers commands, rules, mode guides and server systems, giving new players a practical way to learn the different modes before committing to one.
Rules prohibit hacking, advertising, spam, modified clients, insults and ignoring staff instructions. Mode-specific rules cover claims, farms, redstone, mob limits and resource-world construction. Farm worlds are intended for gathering rather than permanent building, and some worlds can be reset without replacing lost items.
Craftplay is currently presented as free to play. Players can earn playtime ranks through continued activity, while optional purchases include Premium-style ranks, booster packs, VIP boxes and other virtual extras. Purchases are one-time payments rather than subscriptions, and purchased benefits are tied to the specified Minecraft account.
A plugin-based stoneblock-style mode where players expand a confined underground space and develop resources through custom progression systems.
Craftplay's Aderblock starts each player in a protected underground cave and combines cave expansion, generators, machines, trader tokens, pipes, and quests.
Specialized machines that process resources or automate parts of a player's production and progression setup.
Aderblock adds custom production machines, pipes, and automaters that let players develop resource-processing systems inside their protected caves.
A progression mechanic in which players enlarge a restricted underground area to gain room for resources, storage, production, and development.
In Aderblock, players expand their protected starting cave as the main spatial progression path before developing a larger underground operation.
A protective recovery container that temporarily preserves items dropped after a player's death.
Craftplay's angel chest protects dropped items for a limited period, giving players a chance to recover equipment after dying.
A dedicated token currency used to interact with traders or unlock progression in a specialized server mode.
Aderblock awards trader tokens as part of its cave and production progression, giving players a mode-specific resource beyond Craftplay's ordinary currencies.
Minions are persistent helpers that perform useful production or resource activities, supporting progression while players pursue other objectives.
Craftplay uses minions in Skyblock and related progression systems, where they contribute to resource generation alongside islands and generators.
Virtual storage lets players keep or access item inventories through an abstract storage system rather than only physical containers.
Craftplay provides virtual storage as a network convenience, alongside backpacks and other storage options used across its persistent modes.
Decorative or collectible player and character heads that players acquire, display, exchange, or pursue as long-term collection goals.
Craftplay rotates collectible-head boxes and themed sets, making decorative head collecting a recurring network activity and reward path.
Backpacks expand portable storage, letting players carry more materials and supplies than their ordinary inventory allows.
Craftplay offers backpacks as an optional server system for carrying additional items while gathering, building, and progressing through its modes.

History of Craftplay.de
Craftplay marked its fourth anniversary in July 2025. Later that year, the team announced a major restructuring after a drop in team and player activity, with Wullverin taking over a smaller successor network called Chaoskeller. Plotserver, Skyblock, OneBlock and Survival remained playable, with player progress intended to carry across the transition.
By 2026, Craftplay was publishing regular network updates under its own name again. The network added Aderblock to open alpha on July 28, 2026, introducing a plugin-based Stoneblock-style cave progression. In September 2026, several main modes were updated to Minecraft 26.2, while Craftplay added new travel features, refreshed collection boxes and shorter playtime requirements for earned ranks.
