About CosmicReborn
CosmicReborn is a space-themed Factions server built around classic 1.7–1.8 combat. Players join factions, gather resources, build defended bases, raid enemies with TNT cannons, and compete for faction points.
Beyond faction warfare, the server adds custom enchants, armor sets, masks, pets, dungeons, trials, ruins, minigames, tournaments, and a large in-game economy. Each map becomes a fresh race for power, with new loot and changing rules that can reshape how factions fight.
What Makes It Different
CosmicReborn feels like a playable time capsule for classic Cosmic Factions, but it keeps changing through new map eras. The main skill is not just fighting; factions must also build, cannon, trade, grind, and manage their seasonal power.
Factions is a Minecraft multiplayer mode where players join organized groups, build shared bases, and compete with rival groups for territory, resources, and strategic advantage.
Players join factions, claim territory, build defended bases, earn faction points, and compete against rival groups across seasonal maps.
Raiding is attacking another player’s base to breach its defenses, reach its valuables, and weaken or destroy its ability to operate.
TNT cannon attacks against defended faction bases are a central part of competition and progression.
Dungeons are structured Minecraft challenges where players explore connected rooms, fight hostile mobs, overcome hazards, and reach a final encounter or objective.
Dungeons and higher-tier dungeon runs provide structured challenges and important high-end rewards.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Player combat spans faction warfare, warzones, the End, Ruins, duels, tournaments, Cage PvP, and other arenas.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.

Base building is a major part of the game. Cannon boxes, buffers, core chunks, regeneration walls, and faction shields all affect how a raid is planned and defended. Players can also use commands for shops, auctions, spawners, homes, dungeons, trials, and faction management.
Progression mixes money, faction upgrades, custom enchants, McMMO skills, spawners, kits, dungeon keys, trial rewards, and rare loot. Strong items can come from higher-tier dungeons and trials, End and Ruins mobs, minigames, fishing, KOTH, Citadel, and faction objectives.
Map resets create a seasonal race. Ranks, Reborn Coins, titles, reputation, showcase data, and home capacity can carry forward, while worlds, faction data, money, homes, vaults, and seasonal tokens can be cleared.
CosmicReborn adds custom enchants, special weapons, armor sets, masks, inventory pets, custom blocks, item skins, spawners, trial trinkets, lootboxes, faction upgrades, and dungeon items.
The current 3-3-3 era narrows the item pool around selected older-style enchants, armor sets, pets, custom blocks, and skins. This gives each map a clearer power curve than a season with every historical item enabled.
The current Alien Planet Map 1 format uses three 6,000 by 6,000 worlds: /spawn, /plains, and /desert. Together they provide twelve faction corners and separate spaces for building, travel, combat, and resource gathering.
The world changes between maps. Planet themes such as Dungeon, Jungle, Forgotten, Void, and Alien have each brought different layouts, rules, loot, and faction limits.
PvP takes place in faction warfare, warzone areas, the End, Ruins, LMS, duels, tournaments, and dedicated arenas such as Cage PvP. Raiding uses TNT cannons and defended faction bases rather than simple block breaking.
Trapping is allowed within limits, but exploits, teleport traps, illegal base glitches, cross-teaming, and unfair advantages are prohibited. Faction PvP points and end-of-map competitions give organized teams extra goals.
The server uses an in-game cash economy with shops, auctions, spawners, jackpot systems, sell tools, faction taxes, dungeon payouts, and player trading. Spawners can support both faction income and faction progression.
Reborn Coins are a separate store-linked currency used through /coinshop. Map resets can remove normal money and seasonal resources while preserving Reborn Coins.
Regular events include tournaments, dungeon and trial challenges, faction PvP competitions, KOTH, Citadel, invasions, seasonal crates, limited-time minigames, and end-of-world raid or PvP events.
Map launches and endings can include faction prizes, charity donations, store credit, custom titles, ranks, lootbox bundles, and special gear. Some minigames return only for short events.
The main community hub is Discord, with support tickets for general help, bug reports, player and faction reports, ban appeals, and purchase problems. Players can also apply for staff, media, and partner roles.
Community surveys and map-era polls help shape future rules, themes, balance changes, and gameplay systems.
Cheats, hacked clients, X-ray, automated gameplay, significant gameplay advantages, serious exploits, scamming, cross-teaming, insiding, account trading, real-money item trading, and harmful threats are prohibited.
Performance mods, shaders, Fullbright, Replay Mod, Cosmic Client, Lunar, and Badlion are allowed within the listed limits. Auto-clickers are allowed up to 10 CPS. Base and cannon rules also limit defenses, claims, cannon sizes, firing methods, and raid behavior.
The server sells Reborn Coins through its official store for use in /coinshop. Store content includes ranks, lootboxes, crates, bundles, cosmetics, custom items, and other progression-related packages.
Playing is not locked behind a subscription, but store items can affect the pace and shape of progression. Purchases are final, including when an account is later banned or muted.
Seasonal map resets periodically replace world progress while preserving selected long-term player or account unlocks.
CosmicReborn cycles through named Planet maps, clearing worlds and seasonal progress while carrying forward selected ranks, currencies, titles, and reputation.

History of CosmicReborn
CosmicReborn was announced on November 23, 2023, and launched on December 2, 2023. Its first release recreated much of the old Cosmic Factions formula after ten months of full-time development. Trials, dungeons, invasions, ruins, tournaments, custom blocks, item skins, masks, armor sets, pets, and faction systems formed the foundation.
The first week quickly expanded that foundation. Faction Shields gave bases timed protection from explosions, while trial trinkets, chest searching, jackpot history, improved cannon tools, and economy changes added more ways to prepare for raids and earn rewards.
During early 2024, CosmicReborn moved through several Dungeon Planet maps. The server deliberately revisited older Cosmic eras, including a 2021-inspired map and a 2023–2024 ruleset. These seasons changed faction sizes, base limits, grace periods, shields, loot tables, and available custom items.
A May 2024 update outlined a planned move toward Minecraft 1.20 while Dungeon Planet continued running. Map 7 kept the established reset structure: player ranks and selected long-term unlocks survived, while worlds, faction data, homes, vaults, and other seasonal progress were cleared.
By September 2024, Jungle Planet Map 2 had expanded the map format to a 12,000 by 12,000 world. It added ruins, a stronghold, custom blocks, new item skins, refreshed loot, larger factions, and longer raiding protection. Update announcements also shifted mainly to Discord as the community grew.
The server returned to a dense seasonal cycle in 2026. Forgotten Planet maps were followed by Void Planet maps, with each season changing world layouts, faction limits, shields, grace periods, rewards, and the items available through dungeons, trials, events, and loot tables.
After a short summer break in late July 2026, Alien Planet Map 1 began on August 8, 2026. The current season revisits a 3-3-3-inspired era, limits the available item pool, and focuses high-end progression around selected enchants, armor sets, dungeons, trials, ruins, minigames, fishing, KOTH, Citadel, and faction competition. CosmicReborn remains a competitive, reset-based version of classic Cosmic Factions with a steady stream of custom content.

Do I need a special client to play CosmicReborn?
You can use the Reborn Launcher or the Official Cosmic Client. The Reborn Launcher supports Windows and Linux and includes in-game voice chat. The Official Cosmic Client supports Windows, Linux, and macOS.
What does the 3-3-3 era mean?
It refers to the older Cosmic enchant combination of Divine Enlighted 3, Godly Overload 3, and Planetary Deathbringer 3. The current era also uses a July 2018-inspired economy and a smaller item pool.
What carries over when a map resets?
Player ranks, Reborn Coins, titles, reputation, showcase data, and home capacity can carry over. Worlds, faction data, kit tiers, home locations, money, vaults, ender chests, and minigame points or tokens can be cleared.
