About CarrotCraft
CarrotCraft puts classic survival, floating-island building, ranked duels and an always-on PvP arena behind one lobby. Survival is the long-form mode, with shared-world bases and simple /sethome and /tpa conveniences, while Skyblock adds co-op islands, challenges and a player market. Practice and Pitfall handle shorter competitive play, with per-kit ELO in Practice and elimination-funded upgrades in Pitfall. The network also supports browser-based Eaglercraft play alongside Java and Bedrock.
What Makes It Different
CarrotCraft is unusually accessible for a multi-mode server. Players can join through a browser-based Eaglercraft client without installing Minecraft or using a Mojang account, while Java and Bedrock players use the same network and game modes.
Practice servers let players repeatedly train and test specific Minecraft skills in short, controlled challenges rather than build toward long-term world progression.
Practice is a dedicated mode for repeatable ranked combat training through selectable kits, queues, direct challenges, ELO, and leaderboards.
Duels are self-contained Minecraft PvP matches where two players or small opposing teams fight under defined rules until one side wins.
Practice provides queued and direct 1v1 matches with defined combat kits and competitive outcomes.
Skyblock is a Minecraft mode where players develop a floating island while gathering and multiplying scarce resources above the void.
Skyblock is a headline mode with floating islands, limited starting resources, generators, automation, co-op play, challenges, and a player market.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
Traditional shared-world Survival is one of CarrotCraft’s primary modes, centered on gathering, building, exploring, and base development.
PvP is Minecraft gameplay centered on direct combat between players.
Practice and Pitfall both center on direct player combat, with Pitfall operating as a continuous PvP arena.
Survival follows a traditional gather, build and explore loop without inflated drop rates or a starter kit that skips the early game. Skyblock begins with a small floating island and limited materials, then expands through generators, farms, automation, challenges and co-op play. Practice provides immediate 1v1 fights from selectable kits, while Pitfall keeps players in a continuous arena where eliminations fund upgrades.
Survival progression comes from building a base, improving equipment and expanding personal projects. Skyblock moves from cobblestone generation and careful resource use toward automation, farms, storage systems and a larger island economy. Practice tracks separate ELO and leaderboards for each kit. Pitfall uses eliminations to buy upgrades and a visible rank ladder to measure progress.
Server-specific systems include browser-based Eaglercraft access, /sethome and /tpa in Survival, co-op Skyblock islands, challenge objectives, player-market trading, per-kit ELO and leaderboards in Practice, and elimination-funded upgrades in Pitfall.
Survival uses a shared traditional world where player bases and farms sit alongside one another. Skyblock separates players into floating islands that can be expanded and managed cooperatively. Practice and Pitfall use dedicated combat arenas designed for repeatable fights rather than long-term building.
Practice is built around ranked 1v1 duels with per-kit ELO, kit-specific leaderboards, queues and direct challenges. Pitfall is a continuous PvP arena rather than a match queue, with eliminations paying for upgrades and higher ranks making players more visible targets. The server's 1.8.8 browser client is the clearest fit for its classic combat modes.
Skyblock has a player market where island specializations create reasons to trade resources, mob drops and processed materials. Players can also purchase optional VIP, VIP+ and MVP ranks through the official shop, with perks focused on convenience, storage, cosmetics and queue access.
The social play is strongest in shared Survival bases, Skyblock co-op islands, player trading and direct duels. Discord is the main support channel, with tickets available for server and purchase issues.
CarrotCraft is free to join, including through its browser client. The shop sells VIP, VIP+ and MVP ranks with monthly, three-month and lifetime options. Listed perks include extra homes, additional Ender Chest storage, particles, queue skipping, lobby flight, cosmetics, pets, /hat and /nick. The server describes its paid ranks and cosmetics as non-pay-to-win.
A separate ELO rating measures competitive performance independently for each selected combat kit.
Practice assigns separate ELO ratings to each kit, so a player’s standing can differ across combat loadouts.
Combat eliminations grant resources that players reinvest into stronger equipment, abilities, or other competitive improvements.
In Pitfall, eliminations fund upgrades during arena play, turning successful fights into immediate combat-power improvements.
A continuously available arena lets players enter ongoing combat without waiting for a separate scheduled round or match.
Pitfall runs as an always-on PvP arena rather than a match queue, keeping eliminations and progression within continuous combat.
Leaderboards rank players for performance within a particular kit, mode, activity, or competitive ruleset.
Practice publishes kit-specific leaderboards alongside ELO, letting players compare standings separately for each combat loadout.
Co-op islands let multiple players share an island’s building space, permissions, resources, and progression within a cooperative SkyBlock environment.
Skyblock provides cooperative floating islands where small groups manage limited resources, expand shared bases, and develop production together.
Browser play lets players join and play a Minecraft server through a web browser without relying solely on a separately installed launcher.
CarrotCraft offers an Eaglercraft browser launcher supporting Minecraft 1.8.8 and 1.12.2 without a download or Mojang account.
Combat kits provide predefined equipment or abilities so players can enter fights without gathering a full survival loadout.
Practice lets players select kits for 1v1 duels, with each kit tracked separately for ELO and leaderboards.
Resource generators produce recurring materials that support construction, upgrades, defenses, and other long-term progression.
Skyblock starts with limited materials and uses resource generation, including cobblestone generation, as the foundation for expansion.
A rank ladder orders players or combat progression through visible stages based on competitive performance or accumulated success.
Pitfall displays a rank progression that players climb through arena success, making higher-ranked combatants more visible targets.
Structured objectives on an island that guide players through tasks, milestones, or achievements during SkyBlock progression.
Skyblock includes challenge objectives alongside island expansion, giving co-op players goals beyond generating resources and building.
Players can directly invite another player to a rules-defined competitive match.
Practice supports direct 1v1 challenges, allowing players to initiate fights with a chosen opponent instead of joining a queue.
Matchmaking queues group players seeking a rules-defined duel and start contests when suitable opponents are available.
Practice offers queues for ranked 1v1 fights, complementing direct challenges and providing a repeatable way to find opponents.
Automation systems let players use specialized mechanics or machines to produce, process, or manage resources with reduced manual effort.
Skyblock progression advances from basic generation toward automated production, farms, storage systems, and more efficient island operations.
Teleport requests let players ask to move directly to another player, reducing travel time when meeting or regrouping.
Survival includes /tpa, giving players a direct way to request travel to another player’s location.
A server utility that lets players save personal locations and teleport home, reducing travel time while preserving destination-based risk.
Survival provides /sethome for saving home locations, supporting convenient returns while players build and explore the shared world.
Players begin without a pre-supplied equipment package, preserving early progression through ordinary resource gathering and crafting.
CarrotCraft Survival does not provide a starter kit that bypasses the early gather-and-build progression.
