About Alan Becker Minecraft
Alan Becker Minecraft, also called ABMC, is a creator-backed Minecraft network linked to Alan Becker's animation community. It offers several distinct ways to play instead of focusing on one survival world: Survival, Skyblock, Creative and Factions are the main modes, with Jobs and McMMO adding extra goals.
Java and Bedrock players can play together through the same network. The server also accepts older Java clients down to 1.13, while its main build is based on 1.20.4. An official Discord connects the Minecraft community with the wider Alan Becker fan base.
What Makes It Different
ABMC combines a recognizable animation fandom with a full Minecraft network. The same community can choose survival grinding, island play, creative building or faction-based team play while Java and Bedrock players meet on one server.
Factions is a Minecraft multiplayer mode where players join organized groups, build shared bases, and compete with rival groups for territory, resources, and strategic advantage.

Choose between Survival, Skyblock, Creative and Factions. Survival is supported by Jobs and McMMO, while Skyblock gives players a separate island-based progression path. Creative is aimed at building, and Factions adds organized team play.
Jobs provide a way to earn progress through different kinds of work. McMMO adds skill levels and extra rewards to familiar Minecraft activities. Skyblock has its own island-focused advancement alongside the main Survival track.
McMMO is the main gameplay layer beyond vanilla Minecraft, adding skill-based progression. Custom cosmetics are also available through the official store.

History of Alan Becker Minecraft
Alan Becker Minecraft was already operating by September 2021, when players were using play.alanbecker.net and discussing a bending game mode. That early version was more than a simple vanilla world, with experimental gameplay built around the wider Alan Becker community.
The server later went offline and entered a redevelopment period. The rebuild lasted roughly a year and prepared the network for a broader public return.
On March 15, 2024, Alan Becker Minecraft reopened to everyone. The relaunch supported Java, Bedrock and VR players, used Minecraft Java 1.20.4 as its base, and allowed clients as old as 1.13 to connect.
The reopened network moved toward a multi-mode structure. Survival, Skyblock, Creative and Factions became its main public modes, while Jobs and McMMO supplied longer-term progression beyond basic vanilla play.
Today, ABMC operates as an Alan Becker community network with cross-play, separate mode experiences, an official Discord and a web store supporting ranks, upgrades and cosmetics.
