About AfterBloomMC
AfterBloomMC places survival play in a post-apocalyptic setting where players gather resources, build bases, trade, explore, and help rebuild a shared world. Its main SMP is supported by an economy, lore-inspired direction, and a community-first approach in which player feedback and votes help shape future features.
What Makes It Different
AfterBloom combines a post-apocalyptic rebuilding theme with unusually strong emphasis on player input. Major features and future modes are intended to be shaped through community feedback and voting, while the server's published progression model focuses on earning rewards through play rather than locking competitive advantages behind purchases.
An SMP is a multiplayer Minecraft survival world where players gather resources, build, and progress alongside one another.
The server is explicitly organized as a multiplayer survival world where players develop settlements and progress alongside one another.
Survival servers let players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and develop a base while staying alive in a dangerous world.
The main experience is survival gameplay involving resource gathering, base building, exploration, and rebuilding a shared world.
Minecraft economy gameplay makes in-game money a central way to obtain resources, upgrades, or access.
Trading, an auction house, coins, jobs, and economy rules make earning and exchanging value central to progression.
The main experience is survival multiplayer with resource gathering, base building, exploration, trading, and lore-inspired world development. Player interaction is governed by protected-build and anti-griefing rules, while the wider network is being developed to support additional minigames and connected activities.
Progression is built around gathering resources, improving a base, participating in the economy, and earning rewards through continued play. Jobs, battle-pass progression, voting, and grindable currencies are part of the server's published free-to-play model, giving players in-game routes to rewards that are also represented in the store.
AfterBloom uses custom network systems for minigame coordination, matchmaking, server allocation, synchronized statistics, and player transfers. Its development work also includes custom plugins, worlds, events, Discord integration, and website-connected progression systems.
The world is framed as a post-apocalyptic setting where players rebuild after a collapse. Exploration, survival, settlement building, and hidden lore support the broader theme of restoring a damaged world.
PvP exists within the wider survival network, but AfterBloom is presented primarily as an SMP focused on building, economy, exploration, and community rather than as a dedicated competitive PvP server.
Trading and the auction house are part of the survival economy, with rules covering scams, fair trades, and economy exploits. The store and server systems also use coins and other reward currencies, while jobs and voting provide additional ways to earn progression-related rewards.
The network supports admin-triggered custom events and plans to use events as part of its broader minigame and community development. Event details can change as new modes and systems are added.
Community participation is a central part of AfterBloom's identity. Players can influence major features and future modes through feedback and voting, while the server promotes an inclusive, low-toxicity environment with English as the shared public chat language.
The rules prohibit spam, harassment, discrimination, excessive offensive language, inappropriate names and builds, advertising, scamming, griefing, stealing, teleport traps, exploits, cheating, hacked clients, lag machines, economy abuse, doxxing, threats, and punishment evasion. Staff decisions are treated as final, with appeals handled through the appropriate channels.
The optional store sells ranks, rank upgrades, crate keys, limited and specialty items, cosmetics, and coins. The server's published model emphasizes free-to-play progression, grindable rewards, giveaways, and no competitive advantages locked exclusively behind purchases. Store purchases are described as permanent and non-refundable.

History of AfterBloomMC
AfterBloom began during planning conversations in summer 2024, with early players joining a beta built around the idea of a fairer, more community-led survival server. The server's early identity centered on rebuilding, meaningful progression, and giving players a voice in major decisions.
During 2025, the network went through a serious infrastructure failure that damaged worlds, files, and databases. The team rebuilt the remaining systems and returned to active development, adding stronger backups, access controls, monitoring, and recovery procedures.
After the rebuild, AfterBloom expanded its network tooling beyond the SMP. Its current development work includes minigame coordination, matchmaking, synchronized statistics, dynamic server allocation, and a longer-term plan for connected progression across multiple modes.
